Diane Lindsey Reeves, president and chief creative officer of Bright Futures Press, writes with a passion for helping students of all ages discover what they want to be when they grow up. Diane is the author (or co-author) of a wide variety of career exploration resources including the award-winning Career Ideas for Kids series and the faith-based So What Am I Gonna Do with My Life series.
Gayle Bryan, formerly publishing director of Fairgame magazine, a women’s soccer magazine, is the author of sports-related titles in the Career Ideas for Kids and Virtual Apprentice series. She lives with her family in Augusta, Georgia.
Dr. Wally Holmes Bouchillon is an associate professor of teacher education at the University of West Florida. She is the co-author of the Sticky Learning Toolkit and is an educational consultant. She lives in Pensacola, Florida.
Gail Karlitz is an author and editor of nonfiction materials for young people and holds master’s degrees in education and finance. She has taught pre-K through high school, published Careers and Colleges magazine for high school students, and led parenting workshops. She coauthored several books in the Career Ideas for Teens and Virtual Apprentice series. She lives in Stamford, Connecticut.
Sandy Mittelsteadt is an expert in all aspects of career academies and small learning communities development. She is the co-author of the Career Academy Toolkit, the most-widely used book for academies and those who give career advice for a living. She is also co-author of the Sticky Learning Toolkit. Sandy has worked as a consultant with Ford Motor Company Fund, ConnectEd, and PG&E.
Don Rauf is is the co-editor of Student Health 101 and a contributing editor at Careers and Colleges, a magazine for high school juniors and seniors. He also helped write the Career Ideas for Teens and Virtual Apprentice series and is the author of Killer Lipstick and Other Spy Gadgets (New York: Scholastic, 2007). He lives in Seattle, Washington.
Monique Vescia is a contributor to the Scholastic BookFiles series of reading guides for middle-school kids and to the Career Ideas for Teens and Virtual Apprentice series. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
